transformation in In Colombia, a union must be achieved between the
Colombian government and small and medium-sized companies,
enterprises since they represent more than 90% of the business
base.
And these are the ones that do not have great resources
to invest in digital transformation.
The necessary regulations must be created so that small
and medium-sized companies can obtain benefits,
whether from subsidies or less taxes.
otherwise, workers must be trained in the use of new
digital systems, with which they will understand the
oprotunity they offer for the growth of economic
income for companies.
In the market there are several technological digital
tools, which adjust to the needs of each company,
whether large, medium or small.
A better socialization of information on new digital
technologies must be carried out because our culture is
resistant to change

digital Nowadays, the world demands that the digital transformation
transformation go much further. For this, it is necessary to look for new ways
in Colombian of doing business.
enterprises
Now, as the Ministry of Information and Communications
Technologies (MinTIC) and iNNpulsa Colombia tell us,
Within the digital transformation we see issues such as the
appropriation of information technologies which combines
leadership capacity and organizational change which
contributes to an improvement within the business model in
companies.

With these aspects we can see in the private sector where

production processes are optimized to make them more
competitive in such a way, new markets are reached and
customers are satisfied.

On the other hand, the public sector allows us to ask how,

through technology, we can better serve the citizen, ”said
Jehudi Castro, vice-minister of Digital Economy at MinTIC.

The main benefits for companies, whether small, medium or

large, can be:

An expansion in the market.

Increase in customers and therefore in sales.

Processes and resources are optimized.

A study is carried out on the new habits of the clients which

helps us to satisfy their needs, decisions are made in the best
way, the necessary innovation and a culture of change are
promoted.

On the other hand, this transformation not only favors

companies and contributions to the country's development.

Currently, there are 18 CTDEs distributed in the different

regions of the country, where nearly 20 thousand businessmen
have been attended to and 9,190 diagnoses of the level of
digital maturity have been made.

This service, which is carried out free of charge, is carried out

with the support of regional partners, such as the chambers of
commerce, Fenalco and Acopi.
To benefit from these initiatives it is very easy to carry out the
process. Interested entrepreneurs can participate in the
different calls and information on the website of the Ministry
of Information Technology and Communications are aspects
that all companies must keep in mind within the digital
transformation to be more competitive.

Collaboratively, each group will continue with the diagnosis, therefore, each student

must read the following reference and search on internet different sources to

understand the justification definition in a research:

Justification to solve the problem of digital
transformation in Colombian enterprises?
The technological transformation in Colombian companies is
important for their permanence in the market.
Global justification.
Technological changes transform the world and the economy, new
technologies, new products, new regulations are born; This is a process that
increases the ability of human beings to solve problems.
A new process in which the current world is immersed. This new process of
change suggests that structures of the industrial stage are revealed and, as
in transformations old ones will be replaced by new ones that fit better with
the new one order.  It supposes a change in the investment analysis, as
these new investments (ICT) become analyzed under the concepts of NPV,
IRR or Cash-Flow discount

National justification
According to the statistics, small companies have the lowest percentage in terms of
technology assimilation, large companies and SMEs have a better position in
statistics. the business sector is slowly gaining ground in the incorporation of
technology and business digital transformation, once this process begins, the
greatest impacts will be seen when Colombia assimilates, appropriates and takes
advantage of it
Companies must migrate to digital technologies, transform digitally, they must
adapt to the demand and supply of the market that is linked by technological
platforms. If entrepreneurs don't understand the change between old and new
sales flows, companies are going to die. Although a process of digital
transformation, first it is a cultural change.
It is important that they receive government support so that they do not fall into
illegality. Entrepreneurs and pymes are fighting for the State, independent of the
government in power, to do more to generate employment, growth and
entrepreneurship.
Industrial Engineering justification
ERPs allow the integration of the information flows of the different elements of the
company that facilitate the monitoring of the value chain. In this way we obtain
vertical integration of activities until it reaches the end customer. The systems
Integrated Management (ERP) are integrated management systems that allow give
support to all the processes of the company. For example, control economic-
financial, logistics, production, maintenance, human resources.
