Tips for using the Maryland Metrics fastener catalog

In order to find a certain product quickly, you may proceed in two ways.

Table of contents
The table of contents on the very first page of the catalog will help you find out which group the
designated product belongs to. Then refer to the index page of the respective group where you will
find illustrations showing the full index content. The indicated page number will guide you to the
desired product.
The colors of the pricelists may also aid your search. They were selected according to the material
groups:
hardened, tempered steel blue
steel white
brass, bronze, Kuprodur (copper) yellow
aluminium, polyamide (nylon) gray
stainless steel red

According to designation or standard you will find the group and page number of the
required product in the

The products listed in these indexes have, again, been classified by the material respectivel. by
colors to facilitate working with this catalog.

Small-lot quantities are usually rounded up to full packages. Only if explicitly agreed upon, or in case
of large, expensive dimensions, we supply a specific number of pieces differing to full package
quantity.
In this case, a small-lot surcharge of $5.00 net per dimension is charged.

Surface treatment, plating

The catalogue lists the fasteners which are most frequently supplied and are in stock with surface
treatment (platings/coatings).
Of course, we can supply all products with surface treatment per your request, even if they are not
listed in the catalog. Due to our close cooperation with well-equipped plating companies, most
deliveries are possible within 7-21 days plus shipping time from Europe.

However, we recommend to avoid ordering small quantities of surface-treated fasteners not listed in
the catalog, because small-lot surcharges will be invoiced per position and may, depending on the
plating, by far exceed the price per kilogram.
