Dear Mr. Cutt:

My Name Is Israel Padilla I saw that you still have an internship opening and I am very
interested. When I learned that I need to do an internship I immediately knew I wanted to
something outdoors, ever since I was young I've always been an outside person. I believe this is
would be a great opportunity for me.

I'm also very interested in marine science and it was one of my favorite classes last year. I also
want to learn more about the ocean and about our marine animals and how we can help protect
them. I am also interested in how we can help preserve the ocean and reduce the amount of trash
that we throw away every year so that turtles and seabirds don’t die from our plastic.

I think I'm a good candidate because I have flexible hours and I'm a decent swimmer and I’m
comfortable in the water. What I hope to gain from this internship is to see how much I can learn
about marine biology and to see if I can make my senior project about things I've learned from
the internship and hopefully get into marine biology.

As a student who wants to make a change, having the chance to take part in a ​MOCMI ​Internship
would truly excite me because of the ability ​MOCMI​ has to improve our ocean. I am contactable
