Neighbourhood SAFETY Threatened

There has been a significant increase in open drug use, encampments, discarded dirty
needles, human feces, violence and aggressive behaviour in our neighbourhood.

This has coincided with moving Oppenheimer Park Tent City Residents into hotels in
nearby and surrounding areas including: Howard Johnson Hotel at Granville & Davie,
Holiday Inn at Howe and Helmcken and Hosteling International on Granville Street.

Apparently, a Permanent Safe Injection Site is being implemented inside the Howard
Johnson Hotel, which will draw even more criminal activity. All of this is happening
without community consultation, adequate police oversight and addiction counselling.

Voicing your concerns is very important RIGHT NOW. Please call all the
numbers below to have your say.
