We sincerely thank you for your inquiry and are quoting below hoping that our quotation will
meet your expectations. We look forward to your acceptance of our quotation. Our quotation
is subject to the conditions stated below.
The scope as outlined below and technical description & terms and conditions;
The enclosed tender drawing ref Doc. No.: CNHH-1_Rev.00 (As per Attachment);
The quotation is based on Gas Insulated Switchgear of type ELK-3, rated voltage
550kV, rated current 4000A & short circuit rating of 63kA, and strictly as per the tender
drawing as attached.
1) The site testing & commissioning will be handled by our certificated supervisor
during the installation, testing and commissioning period.
2) The maximum period considered total for 19 weeks, include:
Rental the testing equipment
Supervision for installation, site testing and commissioning
3) One trip to and fro Chile is included. If due to no fault of ABB CNHHS, the additional
trip is required, the actual cost of the flight tickets in economy class should be paid
by the customer.
4) If due to no fault of ABB, the testing & commissioning time is extended beyond the
above stipulated time, the additional per day technical assistance charges as
indicated in commercial quotation will be charged according to the actual
additional number of days.
5) Working time per day: 8 hours per day
6) Working time per week: 40 hours per week
7) Any extension or repetition of these services, due to delays, supply issues or similar
beyond ABB control or responsibility will be charged extra at above unit rates.
8) The purchaser will take the responsibility of import and re-export of all the tools and
testing equipment, and inland transportation (unloading and loading) from port to
site and back to port.

Remark:
1) If due to no fault of ABB, the testing & commissioning time is extended beyond the
above stipulated time, the additional per day rental fee as indicated in commercial
quotation will be charged according to the actual additional number of days.
2) ABB is only responsible for renting tools and testing equipments. Responsibility for
management of resources and schedule lies with purchaser. It will remain ABB property
after completion of work.
3) Be advised, that we will charge the rental fee for the tools from the date of outgoing till
the date of intake in our stock in China. Estimated time for transport is separately shown
in our quotation. Please feel free to cut the list of needed tools by the tools you already
have on site or can be provided from local sources. In that case we expect these tools
in excellent conditions free of any charges for ABB.

Enclosure A
HV Test Sets and Tools for Service Works at
Perú Nodo Energético SS ILO 550kV GIS Site
1) Special tools and testing kits on site on returnable basis; Detail tools and testing
equipments please refer to the Enclosure A
2) Standard GIS on site testing (including testing equipments) according to IEC standard
for GIS (IEC 62271-203).
Visual inspection, checks and verifications;
Density Monitor calibration;
Gas tightness test;
DC resistance (voltage drop) testing;
Gas compartment moisture (humidity) testing;
CB timing testing;
LCC function testing;
Function testing for disconnector and earthing switch & Fast earthing switch;
Assist the customer for CT & PT,SA testing (testing equipments for CT PT SA are not
included, which should be provided by the commissioning crew of the protection
system)
HV withstand testing (one minute);
Assist the customer for remote control and protection testing for GIS;
Installation and Testing reports.
1.4 Excluded
Rent of equipment, which is not mentioned in the attached tools list (e.g. scaffolding etc.)
Works outside of the mentioned scope of works
Costs for supporting staff as demanded in chapter "technical assistance"
Waste disposal
All taxes, duties, custom duties, fees and any such charges whatsoever levied on the
equipment or services outside the People’s Republic of China, if levied. This shall be to
the account of the Buyer.

Note:
Commissioning of the GIS covers all the work necessary to ensure correct operation of the
equipment when energized. Commissioning does not necessarily cover the energisation of
the GIS as this may occur at a later date.
2.1 Tools and Infrastructure for Test Equipment Installation and Commissioning

The following tools and infrastructure have to be provided by the customer for Installation
and Commissioning on site during perform the site testing.
The GIS is prepared for the HV AC-test, filled with SF6-gas to the rated pressure and with all
HV-cables and OH-lines disconnected. The test is carried out with a special testing device
that is connected to the GIS. The test voltage is in accordance with IEC 62271-203, Table
107. After the test has been passed a commissioning report is issued.
