"Lack of COVID 19 Testing Kits"

Being a simple citizen that was given an opportunity to speakout what is my perspective

regarding with the COVID 19 issue is a pleasure for a person like me.

I admit that I hears a lot of rumors about the shortage of testing kits for COVID 19

pandemic in our country. In fact, there are almost 10,463 people who are currently confirmed

as infected of the aforementioned virus and 698 people who died as of now and maybe one of

the main caused is this issue. We cannot deny the fact that the scarcity we are experiencing

right now is a very huge problem for all of us and most of all for those who are at a vulnerable

situations. As of what WHO leader, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said, "One needs to know

where you are in the epedemic to be able to do something about it, and to do that one needs

to test." How could we avoid the prevalence of this utmost problem if we don't have enough

COVID 19 testing kits at all? Would it be effective if we let all of this happens? My answer is

absolutely not. All of our hardworks and efforts will be voided because of the absence of our

essential needs to combat our enemy particularly the COVID 19 pandemic. My propaganda that

I guess would be effective at all is first, our government should give more emphasize and
attention on the hoarding of the medical supplies nor equipments that are essentialy used for

the virus. They must also ask for the donations to support laboratories who are continously

working hard to create a vaccine anti- Covid 19. All people must be encourage to make an

improvised PPE or Personal Protective Equipment for themselves and also for those who work

at the hospitals and other frontliners. Even though we are experiencing a shortfall in terms of

the fund of the Philippines, our government must still take a look for the alternative solutions

they could give to serve there people. There are some controversy that public officials getting

quick results on their test because they will percieved to be getting priority treatment for

testing while numerous people considered actual patients under investigation. Many of whom

are frontliners were dying before they could even get test results. They must be fair and just in

terms of the distributions of chances to undergo into a tests as they already felt the symptoms

of the virus. This maybe one of the reason why infected people of the aformentioned virus still

increases. While some business man's only look for the profit they could get as they give

unreasonable pricing for the medical equipments like mask, alcohols and other stuffs that are

essentialy needed.

Perhaps, the main caused why still there are no solutions to combat COVID 19 is because of

the mindset of every individual. Someone works only for the sake of themselves without

considering the domino effect that it could give to others. Obeying rules can do a lot as for now

to ended COVID 19 pandemic.
