Guidelines:

1. The RADAR has to be accomplished to determine and assess the damages caused by the disasters/hazards to DepEd constituents and properties.
2. Immediate submission of the RADAR is necessary to enable us to craft TIMELY, RELEVANT and APPROPRIATE action plans which would address the needs.

3. Kindly accomplish the forms based on the recommended timeline.
4. The form wishes to gather data on the following variables:
a) Total number of temporary learning spaces needed (if necessary). The TLS requirement is computed by subtracting the no. of classrooms after
the disaster
and available learning spaces from the number of classrooms before the disaster and by dividing the difference by 2.
b) WATSAN facilities needed due to damages caused by the disaster.
c) Impact on learners and personnel (deaths, missing, displaced, damaged homes, candidates for psychosocial intervention and attendance
d) Needed teaching and learning materials, such as, teacher's kits, learners' kits, textbooks, alternative delivery modes and armchairs.
5.Don’t delete any columns. Put 0 or N/A if not applicable.
6.Enrolment size must be based on SY2013-2014
7. Report on textbooks needed must be submitted 1 week after the disaster
8. Kindly save your file as DepEd <Office> RaDAR_<disaster name>_dateprepared (e.g. DepED Bulacan RaDAR_habagat_20Aug2013)
9. For Division Offices, kindly send your RaDAR to your respective Regional Offices copy furnish the Central Office at drrmodeped@gmail.com
10. After sending your report, please inform the DRRMO thru text at 0915.515.3138 / 0915.515.31.40 to confirm if your email was received.

Guidelines on filling up PERSONNEL ASSISTANCE sheet


1. Create a separate list for teaching and non-teaching personnel with partially damaged and totally damaged houses.
2. There should also be a separate list for teachers from the elementary and secondary levels.
3. Partially damaged houses refer to houses which can be repaired or rehabilitated.
4. Totally damaged houses require replacement and cannot be repaired or rehabilitated. More than 50% of the house was damaged.

Legends:
1
with physical injury - number of students/personnel who sustained physical injuries from the disaster/calamity.
2
Missing - number students/personnel who cannot be found/located.
3
Displaced - students/ personnel who had to transfer/relocate because of the impact of disaster.

Totally damaged classrooms - permanent classrooms for replacement and assessed as not structurally sound. Need to be replaced. More than 50% the building parts/ items/ cost
were damaged.

Partially damaged classrooms - permanent classrooms that were damaged but are considered repairable and for rehabilitation.
