BECAUSE
Cheaper for companies to hire people if they are trained already
skilled workers become inexpensive
less expensive in the long term because they could live at home while learning (when older this is impractical)

THIS IS GREAT BECAUSE
If govt pays for university then it is cheaper for society if these students go directly into work rather than getting educated.
