The graph shows the quantity of international students that are taking a pre-sessional course
between the years 2000 and 2008. Where the vertical axis contains number of students while
horizontal axis the years. And the graph shows number of students on course along the years.

1. The red part speaks about a short description about graph.

2. The blue part speaks about an analysis comparing to the number of visitors between
areas. More accurately, this is a conclusion.

3. The green parts are affirmations that we can to understand after to see the graph. And the
next text in the paragraph shows reasons that support the sentence.

4. The brown paragraph is a sum of conclusions made along the text making a final
conclusion.

Business Speech Activity

The graph shows the Annual Sales of one product between 2014, 2015 and 2016 in different
places that are responsible to distribute. The horizontal axis has the sale points while the vertical
axis shows the turnover with pound coin thousands. Department stores had been more sales in
2014 comparing to the other years. However, their sales have remained in 2015 and 2016. Also,
the supermarkets have become in the best seller if we speak about 2015 and 2016. Clearly, small
shops are experiencing problems all years. Probably they need to change the sales strategy to
increase turnover.

Generally, sales are increased in 2016. The product A is having better sales comparing to last year,
but the graph also shows that each of point of sales need to be best. Department stores had the
best sales with supermarkets in 2014, but supermarkets gained relevance the next years, so what
happened in 2015 and 2016 with Department stores? The company has to increase promotion of
product in both cases, Department stores and Small Shops. To copy the supermarkets strategy in
Small shops and Departments can be an option.

To sum up, the product is having good sales all years. If we to compare the numbers, more or less
it is the numbers combining the sales between points of sale in the 3 years: Departments: 140,
Supermarkets: 120, Small shops: 110. So, the product has been sold in department store along
time.
