I am writing to apply for the part time position at Coles Australia, that was recently advertised on
your website. As an extremely sociable and friendly student with great communication and hands
on skills, I believe that I would be a great choice. I am very interested, and excited of the
opportunity to be a part of the Coles community that I have heard such good things about.

I have great work experience for my age, already working 2 jobs and was an award-winning umpire
in 2018. I currently work at KFC and Albert Park Yachting and Angling Club. These jobs have given
me the skills and knowledge to work with and handle food in the supermarket, in a safe and
healthy way. I provide tremendous customer service to all of our consumers, and was awarded
with KFC employee of the month in recognition for my hard work. I am currently a student at
Mackillop College in Werribee and am a highly motivated and focused individual, who always tries
to succeed. I was at the top of my class in in Mathematics in 2019 with an average of 96%, and with
my love of sports I have been privileged to represent the school in a sports team for 4 continuous
years.

I am thrilled for this opportunity to be able to improve my skills, customer service and
understanding of the food business to another level. For the position of casual Coles Team
Member, I am confident that I would be valuable and a helpful addition to your team. I would very
much appreciate the opportunity to meet with you in person to introduce myself and discuss any
