    Dear Sir/Madam
    I’m writing to you as I am applying for the position of Sales Assistant, which is currently
    advertised on Indeed.
    As you can see from my attached CV, I have obtained a range of high level GCSE'S ranging
    from levels 6-9 , including Maths and English.
    I have just finished studying graphic design level 3 at Rotherham College. Illustration and
    design is an area that I feel very passionately about and I have successfully gained a higher
    level distinction on this course. At Leeds Arts University I am currently studying a BA Hons
    in Illustration.
    I am specifically interested in working in your store as I am excited about design and
    creation and have grown up with an experience of constructing lego, admiring the attention
    to detail and escapism that is offered.
    In addition I am keen to secure a position in order to help me to continue to develop life and
    workplace skills, as well as giving me invaluable experience for the future.
    Whilst at college I balanced my studies and a job at the fast food chain McDonalds. This
    enabled me to gain experience of working with customers and my wider team. In a fast
    paced environment I remained calm and focused. I finished working at McDonalds whilst
    preparing to move to university and I now want to expand my range of experience.
    I have voluntarily worked for the childrens’ literacy charity Grimm and Co, designing artwork
    and illustrating books for publication. This demonstrates my work ethic and commitment to
    creative design.
    I am always punctual, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. My friendly and
    enthusiastic outlook makes me a desirable employee. I always make customers feel
    welcome, working in collaboration and being independent and reliable.
