In this lesson…​ We will write our own stories about our school year from

Introduction/ .I will first tell a narrative story of the beginning, middle, and end of my Senior
year
Hook
1. Explain the four square organizer and how we can use it to form ideas
2. Sit at desks and begin to form ideas
3. Sit at teacher table and help each group construct their own stories and
explain any questions they have

Instructional 1. After pre-writing, Put the story together in three separate paragraphs
Activities 2. Give students free time to work with partners and peer revise
3. Go back to teacher desk and revise their stories with Mrs. RJ and assist
with adding more detail

Present stories in front of class and allow teachers to understand how their
students perceived the school year
Closure Activity
Read out the objectives and have students give thumbs up or down if they have
mastered activities
Extended time to complete assignments if needed as homework
