1.0 OBJECTIVE
This document is intended to establish requisition of the dust suppression dust
suppression equipment materials of the SAFI INDEPENDENT POWER PROJECT in
MOROCCO.
2.0 SCOPE
2.1 Scope of Work
Vendor shall perform scope of work but not be limited to the followings to provide
completed operational unit according to the requirements specified in the requisition .
Scope of work are shown by marking
- Basic & detail design and engineering for dust suppression equipment.
- Manufacturing and material procurement.
- Inspection and test in accordance with codes, datasheets & specifications,

requirement in this requisition.
- Surface preparation and painting
- Export packing and FOB.
- Others specified in this requisition
2.2 Scope of supply
Vendor shall be responsible for supply of the equipment listed in this requisition.

4.0 DEFINITIONS
Throughout this document the following definitions shall apply:
CLIENT: means SAFI ENERGY COMPANY
CONTRACTOR: means Daewoo E&C
SUPPLIER/VENDOR: Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd for provide dust
suppression system for the coal handling system.
PROJECT: means SAFI INDEPENDENT POWER PROJECT (MOROCCO)
WORK: means the works and/or services entrusted by the contractor

under the contract with the company.
EPC: Engineering, Procurement and (Construction.)
INSPECTOR: The representative of COMPANY and Purchaser, located in the

site of work or in the facilities of supplier, in charge of reviewing,
approving and authorizing an inspection work to be excluded by
the supplier.
5.0 ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS
- Ambient air temperature range : 0 ~ 50℃

- Relative humidity range : 0~100%
- Sea water temperature range : 12~25℃
6.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Dust suppression systems comprise water spray gun system for coal yard and spray
nozzle system for transfer tower and incorporate both manual and automatic mode of
operation from the control house.
Dust suppression system for out-side area controls the falling coal dust in the chute and
skirt point in UTT-01/02, NTT-01/02. Similarly dust suppression system for in-side area
controls the falling coal dust in the chute and skirt in NTT-03/04, TT-01/02. Dust
suppression system for coal stock pile area controls the growing fly coal dust in dry and
windy weather condition.
Floor washing system for transfer tower UTT-01/02, NTT-01/02/03/04/05/06, TT-01/02,

SCB, TTT and gallery washing system for belt conveyor CV-03A/B, CV-04A/B and
manual mode of operation from each protection area.

The sump pump is installed in sump pit of transfer tower TT-01, SCB and the waste
water inside pit is transferred to trench close to the tower accordingly. The sump pump
can be automatically operated by level switch and can be manually operated by local
control panel close to sump pit.
The piping for dust suppression system will be satisfied with piping material class(PMC).
This system is divided into three (3) zones as a matter of convenience

7.0 OPERATION METHOD
7.1 IN-SIDE AND OUT-SIDE AREA DUST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
Dust suppression system for in-side area & out-side area will spray chute or skirt in the
transfer tower and will be actuated by the stream of coal being conveyed and also inter-
locked with the corresponding conveyor. Unless the solenoid valve shall be actuated, the
spray nozzle shall be not discharged.
The flow rate for water spray nozzle is 3 liter per minutes and the spray angle of full cone
type water spray nozzle is 60 degree. That value of flow rate is suitable for dust
suppression in chute and skirt on experience. The insert hole for water spray nozzle
manifold will be considered and designed according to circumstances.
7.2 COAL STOCK PILE DUST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
Dust suppression system for coal stock pile will cover entire surface of coal piles and will
spray water at a rate of two(2) liters per sq meter of pile surface per hour and have
automatic time-sequence control system. Low point drains will be provided.
Water spray guns, the rotation angle of which is about ±90°, are arranged along side of
coal stock pile and coverage area of each gun is overlapped adjacent gun spray area to
give full wetting. Water spray will be done using guns and continue for few minutes. Then
next guns will be used to spray next area. In the same manner, each gun will be used
one after another. And the shift of water spray from two(2) gun to another will be done by
manual and auto operation.
8.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTION AND TEST
8.1 General
Quality assurance system shall be met in accordance with the ISO 9001: 2008 Edition,
connect a copy of supplier quality assurance program shall be submitted to the
purchases review prior to award.
SUPPLIER shall conduct tests and / or inspections and provide all the related
documentation in accordance with the requirements specified in specification / code.
SUPPLIER shall submit inspection and test plan and inspection and test procedure.
SUPPLIER shall perform the test and inspection as per test and inspection procedure,
which developed by vendor with COMPANY’s approval.

SUPPLIER shall be responsible for arranging all types of inspection, which specified in
the approved inspection plan and procedure. The COMPANY and his representatives
reserve the right to attend at the inspection of any equipment or materials and to visit a
SUPPLIER’s or sub-supplier’s works at any time.
Witnessed test and / or inspections are required in the presence of

9.0 GUARANTEE
9.1 General
Complete equipment and auxiliaries furnished by the supplier shall be guaranteed to be

suitable for the services described herein, shall conform to all applicable codes and
standards and shall safely meet all conditions of performance and design specified in the
specification.
The supplier shall guarantee that the equipment will meet all the performance and
service requirements under all design conditions identified in this specification.
9.2 Guarantee Items
The supplier shall guarantee that the equipment and materials will comply with all
applicable code.
10.0 PAINTING
The complete equipment shall be painted in accordance with project specification.
The Vendor’s standard painting systems may be acceptable, subject to a review /

approval by COMPANY / EPC contractor.
11.0 PACKING, MARKING AND SHIPPING

All packing and preservation shall be suitable for storage on-site without any further
protection under the ambient conditions specified for a period of twelve months.
- All instrument and delicate components shall be dismounted and separately packed.

- Exposed machined surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned and coated with rust
preventive.
- Vendor shall advise in regard to any special storage, inspection, re- application of
preservation etc., required.
- Preparation for shipment and packing shall be in accordance with the supplier's
procedure with purchaser approval, and it shall be subject to inspection by
purchasers inspector or designed inspector
12.0 SPARE PARTS AND CONSUMABLES

Spare part kits shall be detailed to identify each individual item.
Spare parts shall be preserved from environmental corrosion, and preservation methods
shall be suitable for long term storage (in a marine atmosphere).
Detailed documentation for spare parts (sectional drawings with parts list) shall be
submitted with spare parts list.
13.0 ATTACHMENTS
The following document/drawings and those referenced shall form a part of this
requisition.

NOTES:

(3) Vendor will be responsible for paying all charges for submitting documents when mailing.
In addition to the status reports for the previous month's status, Vendor shall submit
"unpriced sub-orders" after placing of sub-orders with sub-vendors.
(4) The vendor shall submit the revised vendor prints within two(2) weeks after receipt of the
purchaser's commented data & drawings, up to the Certified Final.
(5) The Vendor shall submit the Vendor Data Book within 2 months after shipment.
(6) If special tests other than those listed above are required, the test method shall be
subject to agreement between the manufacturer and the COMPANY.
(7) Vendor shall submit documentation (3C+1CD) for final and Data Book, or documentation
as per specifications.
(8) Electronic files for all drawings and documents shall be submitted together with the
Manufacturing Record Book. The standard document format shall be Portable
Document Format (PDF), but Vendor shall provide with native source files upon the
Purchaser’s request for his convenience.
(9) All drawings shall be generated in DWG format of AUTO CAD System, of which native
files (DWG) shall be submitted to Purchaser for Final.
(10) All documents and drawings shall be furnished and arrive at Purchaser’s office within
the document schedule which are counted from Date of Purchasing Order.
(11) Approval of Vendor’s documents shall not relieve the Vendor form responsibility with
regard to performance of the equipment specified herein.
(12) Review Status Codes from Purchaser
1. No Comments : Work may proceed.
2. Comments as noted : Work may proceed subject to compliance with

and incorporation of comments.
3. Rejected : Revise and resubmit.
4. Information only : Accepted for information only.
(13) The responsibility for ensuring Purchaser receives all relevant documents rests with
Vendor. Vendor shall be responsible for replacing documents lost or damaged in
transit without extra cost to Purchaser.
(14) Language
All technical documentations to be generated in the project shall be in English &

French.
