Dear Mr Pichai,
My name is carlos David Lemus, I am a seventeen years old systems programmer graduated from the University Los
Andes, ubicated in Bogota, Colombia. Actually, I am working creating digital applications for cellphones and computers
in Apple Inc. and it is a great job, but since I was 5 years old my dream always has been to work in Google Inc. because
my opinion is that your enterprise has been changing the world since it was created in 1998 and I saw a great
opportunity when my friend that actually works there told me that you had an avalaible vacant in the programming
department.
Actually, i am conscious tha the most part of your employess group are graduated of prestigious universities like
Harvard or Yale and you try to contract American people to support the people that was born in the Unite States, but
I want you to understand that my life is similar to your life, We were born in a country that limits the capacities of the
habitants for the simple fact of being born in those countries and it does not mean that I do not love my natal country,
it means that we needed to work harder to get to the place where we wanted to be and that is what I am actually doing,
and I don’t want that you give me the job only because I had to fight to be where I am, the only thing that I want is that
you give me the opportunity to show you what I am able to do and the kind of person that I am and I promise you that
if you put me on proof you won’t ever regret of your decision.
Finally, I want to highlight that I can speak in four languages (Spanish, English, French and mandarin), I did an internship
in the Virginia tech and I would be honored to work in a prestigious company like Google Inc
