This research aims to improve academic performance in Spanish language at the Supaneca Educational Institution in Tibaná, Colombia by implementing the use of a multimedia notebook. The researcher used a quantitative descriptive method to analyze academic performance data and survey responses to identify factors influencing low performance. A non-probabilistic sample was used due to the small population size. The technological proposal involves a didactic material created in Cuadernia that presents Spanish language content attractively using multimedia. Implementing this tool improved reading comprehension scores and evidenced student enjoyment in interacting with the material, offering an innovative way for both students and teachers to access knowledge.

The research method used is of the Quantitative-Descriptive type, which was based on the analysis of statistical data related to academic performance and information collected through surveys and tests, which allowed determining factors that would be influencing the low academic performance of the area. study. The population sample that is part of this research was chosen using a non-probabilistic method, since it was not necessary to apply any statistical method, due to the small size of the target population. The technological proposal consists of a didactic material prepared in Cuadernia. This proposal offers the main thematic contents of the area, in an attractive and innovative way, with multimedia elements predominating. The implementation of the technological tool allowed to change the initial value of the dependent variable (Reading Comprehension), with the use of the proposed technological material, thus promoting the fulfillment of the main objective of this research, which is to improve academic results in the area of Language Castilian through the strengthening of reading skills, in addition to evidencing, the pleasure on the part of the students, when interacting with the material, since they were being offered another way of accessing knowledge, different from the one they had been using, in addition to offer the teacher another methodological option, which not only generates innovation, but good results, something that is confirmed by the application of the post-test.
