What was that one thing that I thought it would be very difficult and
at the end it wasn't?
I thought drawing the still life was going to be hard. Although at the
end it was still hard, it was easier than I thought. It was easier because
it was all simple shapes. So thinking that it was just drawing shapes out
of what I see made it easier for me to draw.

Questions
In terms of ATL skills, which one I think was developed with this
activity?
I think I developed the thinking skills in this activity. I had to envision
the drawing in my head and then draw. I had the picture in front of me
but I have to think what to shade or draw to make it look as similar as
possible. It was like making small decisions in my head for a better
result.
What do you think is the relationship between the drawing you did
and the art term: Still-life?
Still-life means to draw or paint an arrangement of object. I did a
still-life drawing with the object I set up. I took a picture of the
arrangement in black and white then draw it out. The object was still
but I put it to life by drawing it. Although there are many improvement
I can make in this drawing. I really tried my best to make it look as good
as those still-life by professional artists.
In this still-life activity I know that my artwork needs lots of improvement. For
example the proportion of the drawing compared to the picture is off. I drew
my drawing a bit smaller and some of the shading didn’t match up to the
picture. Out of the three object I would say I drew and shaded the cylinder the
best. I think the shading and proportion of the drawing was better than the
other object I drew. The shading is a bit scratchy but I can fix that with
practice. Overall I did the best I could. To fix my mistakes is to practice more
to see improvement on those specific flaws.
