THIS GUIDE IS HERE TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND WHICH PIECES OF GEAR

YOU SHOULD INVEST YOUR TIME AND MONEY INTO UPGRADING.

THIS GEAR DOES NOT MAGICALLY MAKE YOU OP.

BUT THIS SHOULD HELP YOU ON YOUR WAY TO BECOMING STRONG --

ONCE FULLY UPGRADED, YOU CAN PROBABLY CLEAR ALL CONTENT
(barring hard Lotus/Damien/Lucid) WITH THESE ITEMS. (REMEMBER that
perfect gear can never replace skill, but instead gives you more room for error)

advice I’ve received from my friends.

Gollux (Required level 140)
Starting Quest: “[Crimsonheart]
To Grendel’s Library” (from
light-bulb)
Note: You should do the quest
“Demon Invitation” (from lightbulb)
After “Castle Visit.” You may be
tempted to keep doing quests for
Ridley, but it’s not necessary.
Ending Quest: “[Gollux] The Face
of Fear”
Gollux has 4 difficulties:
Easy, Normal, Hard, and Hell
You activate difficulties by
killing parts. The more parts
you break, the easier the
difficulty.
You can buy the Superior
Ring and Earring from Lucia
for 160 and 150 coins.
You want pendants and a belt
in order to fulfill your superior
gollux set. (more is better
because 22 stars can boom) What to do daily:
1. 2x runs where you
Hell Gollux has a chance to kill arms and chest
drop Superior Pendants and and press “leave” on
Belts. You get 3 keys a day the map.

World Tree Guardian

Notes: You need 10 full regular

RA clears (all four bosses) before
you can do chaos. You can track
your kills by using your normal
yggdrasil runes as a counter (1x
per boss, so when you have 40,
you can run chaos). SO CAP
WITH YOUR GUILD!
You need 5x tokens from Queen,
Von Bon, and Pierre to get the full
armor set. (One kill will drop
~9-10)
15x tokens from Vellum to get your
weapon. (One kill will drop ~10-15)
These tokens are affected by drop
rate. So let your carry open the
box!
Hard Magnus (HMAG) Level 90 for prequest, 175 for boss
Starting Quest: “To Pantheon” (from
light-bulb)

Ending Quest: “Castle Crash”

What to do:
● You can run Hard Magnus once a week
and he will ALWAYS drop 9 coins.
● He has a high chance of dropping the
cape
● Easy and Normal magnus will drop the
Crystal Ventus Badge, which is now the
badge to use until an event one comes
out.
● Superior Gollux is now the belt to use
due to 22 stars and flames

SOLO RUNS:
Most Denaros per day:
1x Rosa with: 2 Colonia Primo, 2 Soap
1x Luna with: 1 Stylish Glasses, 1
Organic leather, 2 Soap
6x Luna with: 4 soap
This gives you 34 denaros per day.
Each accessory is 250 denaros.
NEVER GO UNDER 20 DENAROS,
BECAUSE THEN YOU CAN’T BUY 4

Merchant Trade Union runs (CPQ)
How these work:
- Party of 3 people who HAVE
HERB TOWN VOYAGE
UNLOCKED
- 3 party voyages. 3 members.
Every member “calls” one run they
will be looting.
- ALWAYS turn pet loot off -- if a
weapon drops and you take it when
you can’t use it, someone’s going
to be mad.
- Talk to Maestra and accept the
first option after every run to get
your rewards. If you don’t, you can’t
do the next run.
Scrapyard (Required level 190, do this with friends
or be ~215-220) Currency Conversion from Scrapyard

Note: You MUST finish ALL of the Black Heaven Rank A core (Dailies) Rank S Core (Lotus) Absolab Coin
Blockbuster in order to fight lotus. You can access it
from the bird in the ereve conference room from the

Starting Quest: “A New Home” (from light-bulb) You need 2 Absolab coins for gloves

all the items you need and 5 coins for a weapon. NOTE:

I recommend almost ALWAYS doing quests the alternative glove

Pink Bean (Required level 160)
Normal Pink Bean serves exactly two purposes:

1. To give you an acceptable pocket item until you can get an event one

The unlock process is tedious but REQUIRED because if you do not do the quests
that unlock it, you will be UNABLE to get your 5th job at 200.

Starting Quest: “Path to the Past” from in Temple of Time

Ending Quest: “Beyond the Ruins”

Tip: No tip really. The questline is long and tedious. You have to kill 333 of every
monster in ToT along with every area boss. You must kill the one in the actual
maps and not the ones in the Mystic Gates.
Masteria Through Time (Required level 33)
Starting Quest: “Onwards, to
Masteria!”

Ending Quest: Whenever you get

your title

This blockbuster is terrible. It’ll take

you ~3-4 hours of just holding down
spacebar and killing stupid enemies to
get through it. I have nothing else to
say, but stats are stats.
Leafre Codex (Required Level 150)
Okay, this one’s important because it’s easy and gives you 30% IED.

All you need to do is complete your monster book for Leafre. So you should have
all of these bois. Mystic gate bosses do NOT drop cards, so you need to find
Manon, Griffey, and Leviathan* in the field. (Check notes for Leviathan)
These two bitches are a pain in the butt to get ONLY because you have to do a
party quest with 3 people to get them. Luckily people run it fairly often to finish
the codex for people.

Starting Quest: “The Dragonrider’s Identity” (From Chief Tatamo in Leafre)

Ending Quest: “Towards the Sky 2” (Careful not to give Chief Tatamo 50 mil for
the mount quest, this is unnecessary).

After finishing all of these quests, you can access Dragonrider Party Quest from
“The Forest that Disappeared” in Leafre. There’s a portal on the bottom right of
the map.

The PQ itself is very trivial and quick, and you get 5 runs a day. You should get
both cards in one run, but you should stay and help your party members get
their cards too!
Yu Garden (Required Level 140)
Starting Quest: “Welcome to Shanghai” Yu Garden is important for two things:
Ending Quest: “Hero of Yu Garden” 1. Totems (30 day duration)
2. Epic Potential scrolls 50%
What to do: Finish the questline in its entirety until you get the Hero
of Yu Garden title. (You need to save the dude from the Shopper
Jiangshi to progress at a certain point, so remember to do this!)
As you’re killing mobs in Yu Garden, you’ll
eventually find these etc. drops. You’ll get a quest
to bring them to Hui Koon Kit and he’ll give you a
totem to equip for 30 days.

Mutant Ribbon Pigs (168) drop the thief shield

recipe (confirmed by me)

Official Knight A (168) is supposed to drop the

mage shield recipe according to the monster
book (not confirmed by me)

I’ve received notice that dual ghost pirates can

drop this recipe, but it’s rare (40 min of at least 4x
drop, n=1)
 Kataras
This section is for the Dual-Blade explorer class only, I’ll quickly rank every katara
and link you to where you can get them! Absolab and Fafnir do NOT count
towards CRA and absolab set bonuses.

Sweetwater is the best due to
its added 30% boss and 10%
IED, even when it has less
ATT than absolab. However,
it is 100% rng whether you
get this or not. Where to get
The Absolab katara is the
second best due to it having
the highest ATT. It is easier to
acquire than SW, so use this
until you are blessed by
rngesus. Scrapyard and DWT
The Fafnir Katara is the third
best just due to its additional
ATT compared to lower level
Kataras. You can get it from
cvell.
Alternatives: Glove (Required level 140+)
I have a love-hate relationship with Dimension Invasion. It’s easy, but also a pain
in the ass to farm. You can access it through the Dimensional Mirror in every town.

You can get two different gloves from DIPQ:

Obviously the High Quality ones are better, but they’re harder
to get. For context, I got 5 regular gloves before I got my first
High Quality one.

What to do:
You get 5 runs of the PQ a day. I recommend running with a
friend because everyone gets drops. It’s faster and easier.
I personally do not do ANY bonus stage that’s not blackheart.

You can craft a glove after getting 4

Pieces. RNG is RNG so you could be at
this for months. But I’ve gotten two
in an average of ~3 weeks per glove running 5x a day.
Alternatives: Face + Eye
Zakum eye and face will do, but honestly do commerci. It’s worth it.
Event items
Rings, Android heart, Sengoku badge, Maple High
Emblem, Totems
These items are important for building your
endgame setup, but are not always available.
Take full advantage of events in order to get the
best possible items! The way to get these items
change event by event, so I will not try to predict
how you get the next ones. Do your own research
for these. Good luck!

Shaolin Temple Shield (No longer recommended)
Starting Quest: “Elder Jung’s Summons”
(from light bulb)

Ending Quest: “For Shaolin Temple”

This is only recommended for anyone

using a shield (explorer warriors, explorer
mages, battle mages, blaze wizards and
shadowers).

After finishing the questline, you can

attempt this boss 2x a day. He drops
fearless items, which includes fearless
shields. It is the best secondary weapon
for the above classes.
Ghost Ship Exorcist (Required level 135) RIP
This quest is extremely easy to do and will get you the best in slot badge in the
game outside of events. Why is it good? Because you can apply potentials to it.

Starting Quest: “The Secret of the Ghost Ship”

You pick it up from this guy (Ralph the Wanderer) in Boat Quay Town in
Singapore (300,000 to get there from Henesys)

Ending Quest: “Ghost Ship Exorcist”

In order to fight Captain Latanica to finish the quest, you must enter the engine
room by going through the shining portal in the “Ghost Ship 7” map.

You can summon him by dropping the “White Essence: ” Ralph gives you after
finishing the previous quest. You drop it in the middle of the engine room to spawn
the boss.
