3. The central processing unit (CPU) is the brain of the computer. It’s location is inside the
motherboard; its prime function is to carrying commands whenever the user communicate with
the computer.

to CPU when needed. The significance of the cache memory is to reduce time to access data from
the memory and to avoid the need to access the dynamic RAM to retrieve the same data
repeatedly. There are three different types of cache memory level 1 cache, level 2 cache, level 3
cache.
