RESEARCH GUIDELINES

A. Margin

 Top: 1 inch
 Right: 1 inch
 Bottom: 1 inch
 Left: 1.5 inches

B. Page Number

 Top-right ( 1inch from top, 1 inch from the right side)


 No page number in chapter page, but page is included in the
Counting
 For preliminaries, use Roman Numeral

C. Font Style, Size and Spacing

 12, Arial , short bond paper


 Double space except when citing a literature of more than 5 lines
(The rule here is single spacing)

D. Do not use personal pronoun instead use third person passive point of view.

E. Language should be:

 Technical/expositional
 Readily understandable/clear
 Simple/direct to the point
 Common/familiar
 Formal
 Grammatically correct

F. Verb

 Proposal (Research 1) - FUTURE TENSE


 Final defense (Research 2) /when reporting test results - PAST TENSE
 When presenting conclusions and generalizations – PRESENT TENSE
