Being a student of management, I suggest entrepreneur and disturbance handler decisional
roles (Mintzberg’s Managerial Roles) suitable for the CEO to adopt in this situation
1) The entrepreneur acts as an initiator, designer, and encourager of change and
innovation.
 Searches organization and its environment for opportunities and initiates “improvement
projects” to bring about changes
 Organizing strategy and review sessions to develop new programs

2) The disturbance handler takes corrective action when the organization faces important,


unexpected difficulties.
 When an organization or team hits an unexpected roadblock, it's the manager who must
take charge. You also need to help mediate disputes within it
 Organizing strategy and review sessions that involve disturbances and crises
