Relationship Between Environment and Human Health

Health is the general condition of body including mind, spirit,which is

free from illness.

According to WHO health is state of complete pyshcal, mental and

social well being and not merely the absence disease or infirmity (1946)

There are two factors affecting health it is :

a). Intrinsic factor (faktor internal )
b). Extrinsic factor ( faktor external)\

Health diseases from intrinsic factor/organic diseases is :

1. Male function of body part

2. Hormonal in balance
3. Male function of immune system
4. Genetic disorder

Health diseases from extrinsic factor is :

1. Mall nutrition
2. Disease by microorganism
3. Environtment pollutan
Medical treatment :
- Providing nutrition foods
- Providing social Remedy
- Avoiding environtment which incorrect with good habit.

Why Are Environtmental Health Services So Important

Environmental health is an important part of disease control and prevention. diseases

need 3 ingredients to spread, is host, agent, and environment. an agents refers to a
germ, or physical of disease of injury, for example virues, bacteria, radiation, and
chemicals. a host refers to people and animals that get diseases. an environment refers
to surroundings an agent mus move through to reach the host, for ex air, water, food.
these environmental factors contribute to the quality of our health. when an outbreak
occurs, epidemiology, laboratory, and environmental health work together to stop the
diseases. epidemiologist focus on the host, laboratorians focus on the agent, and
environmental health specialist focus on environment.

Kesehatan lingkungan adalah bagian penting dari pengendalian penyakit dan

pencegahan penyakit . membutuhkan 3 bahan untuk menyebar, yaitu host ( inang),
agen, dan lingkungan . agen merujuk pada kuman atau penyebab fisik penyakit
cedera, contohnya virus, bakteri, radiasi, bahan kimia. Host mengacu pada orang dan
hewan yang menderita penyakit, dan lingkungan mengacu pada lingkungan yang
harus dilalui agen untuk mencapai inang, contohnya udara, air, makanan. Factor
factor lingkungan ini berkontribusi pada kualitas kesehatan kita. Ketika wabah
terjadi, epidemilogi, laboratorium, kesehatan lngkungan, bekerja sama untuk
menghentikan penyakit. Ahli epidemiologi focus pada host, ahli lab focus pada agen
penyebab, dan ahli lingkungan focus pada lingkungan.
