ABSTRACT

For years farmers have been reporting financial information on a variety of forms
for
various reasons such as proof, records to aid decision making, and so on using the
old filing
or hand system. Although the filing or hand system has low initial expense, and it
is easy to
implement, but it is also time-consuming, have more chance to make mistakes, and
requires
too much of time and effort.
The programming environment to be used in designing and programming this
PFMIS’s GUI Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 and the database management environment to be
used in designing the database is Microsoft Access. The database will hold the farm
data such
as the inventory records, sales records, employee records, and Production and
Financial
records. The GUI will read the user’s inputs with forms, and display reports on
information
acquired from the database to the user.
The software is sectioned into Sales Management Section, Activity Management
Section, Inventory Management Section, Employee Management Section, and Reports
section such that: The Sales Management Section handles daily sales in the poultry
farm. The
Activity Management Section deals with the activities in the poultry house such as;
feeding,
treating, cleaning, and so on. The Inventory Management Section handles the
management of
animals on the farm and their products, and crops available for sale or use in the
store house.
The Employee Management Section handles the management of employees/workers on the
farm. The Reports Section handles reports generation in form of tables and allow
search and
print reports.
