Bees are insect and they vary into more than twenty thousand species. Generally,
there are two kinds of bees. The first type is solitary bees living alone and the latter is social
bees living in group. They live everywhere in the world except, high mountains. They live to
pollinate and produce honey and beeswax.
Bees range in colors, such as yellow, black, gray, green, blue, and red. They have two
pairs of wings. The size of wings also determines social status and sex. Most bees can fly
toward, backward, sideways, or stay still. Beside having three regular eyes, they also have a
pair of compound eyes. With their eyes, they can differentiate flowers by shapes and patterns.
When hunting for nectar, they keep it in their honey stomachs.
