Installation and activation instructions

1 Install IMDG Code e-learning

ƒ Select the computer on which you are going to use the product.

a) If you already have the CD, insert the CD and install IMDG Code e-learning
or
b) You can download the latest version from the IMDG Code e-learning support web
site. Connect to the web site at http://www.imdge-learning.com/download.asp and
click the link to download the IMDG Code e-learning program. Follow the on-screen
instructions and run setcbt.exe to install Code e-learning.
ƒ When the program has been installed run IMDG Code e-learning.
ƒ Your product serial number is required to obtain your activation code. It is displayed at
the top right of the screen and is the text string CBT followed by up to six digits, e.g.
CBT123456.

2 Obtain your activation code from the IMDG Code e-learning support
web site
ƒ Connect to the Activation page on the IMDG Code e-learning support web site at
http://www.imdge-learning.com/activate.asp
ƒ Enter your Advance Purchase Code and press the UPDATE button.
Your distributor or supplier will have given you this Advance Purchase Code with these
instructions
or
If you purchased the product directly from the web site your Advance Purchase Code will
have been given to you at the time of purchase.
ƒ In the lower part of the Activate page, enter your product serial number and press the
SUBMIT button. Your Activation Code will be displayed. Also, an email with your
activation code will be sent to the email address shown.
ƒ Make a note of your Activation Code or copy it to the clipboard.

3 Activate IMDG Code e-learning on your computer

ƒ Return to the IMDG Code e-learning program running on your computer
ƒ Select the Purchase/Activate option in the Main Menu
ƒ Select the Activate option in the pop up box. This will display the Activate screen.
ƒ Enter your Activation Code.
ƒ Enter your name and again to confirm.
 ƒ Click OK.
ƒ Your product is now activated. Click on the UPDATE link to download the latest updates
to the product. It is recommended that you click this link once a month for updates.
ƒ Click on the Main Menu button in the bottom left corner of the screen to return to the Main
menu.

Your IMDG Code e-learning program is now ready for course configuration.

Notes:

i) If you purchased more than one activation code repeat these instructions for each computer
to be activated. Upon each activation your Advance Purchase Code will tell you how many
activations have been issued and how many remain.
