What do you think are the advantages and

disadvantages of living up to 100 years of age?

Nowadays, people live longer than in the past. This is due to an advance in different
areas, such as hygiene, medicine, food, technology ... There are even people who
reach and exceed 100 years of age, but like everything, this has its advantages and
disadvantages. Is it worth living that long?
Living for so long should mean being able to do all the things you want to do, fulfill all
your dreams, and cross off all the items on the famous 'things to do before you die' list.
In addition, you have time to form a great family and share everything with them,
including seeing your grandchildren make their life, getting married, having children,...
something that other people do not usually get to do.
However, reaching that age can mean watching your loved ones, children, partner die.
And this should not be easy, because of it is not part of the cycle of life. If health treats
you well you may be healthy and you can lead a normal life with so many years of age,
but perhaps, surely, at that age you will have a very weak health, chronic pain and
even memory loss.
Still, we all know the saying "the devil knows more by old, than by devil." Time brings
wisdom and this, in turn, brings greater empathy, respect for others, the feeling of real
love and capacity for forgiveness. These qualities are what make humans be humans,
and time enlarges them, according to different studies.
Shuffling both sides of arguments, we conclude that if your health allows it, living up to
100 years of age is a great luck and a blessing. The advantages outweigh the
disadvantages, and I would like this life expectancy would be for everyone. We could
go as far as we wanted, thanks to having many more years to take advantage of than
the other people.
