REQUIRED DOCUMENTS IN THE PREPARATION OF

THE INITIAL ENVIRONMENTAL EXAMINATION (IEE) FOR THE PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT


PROJECTS

The following are the basic documents required in the preparation of Initial Environmental Examination for Property
Development Projects. These are needed by the research team for their analysis. Some of these documents are required by the
DENR as attachments to the IEE, once submitted. Please note that there may be other documents required by the DENR during
the course of the IEE Review

1) SEC Registration (if corporation), Certificate and Articles of Incorporation.


2) Name, Address and Numbers of Contact Person of the Proponent
3) Current Table of Organization of the Company
4) Current number of personnel and personnel requirement for the next 5 years
5) Process Description to include

 Construction & Operational Timetable


 Project Construction Activities
 Power and Water Requirement/Consumption
 Site photographs

6) Site Development Plan, Topographic map, Vicinity map of the facility, Location map
7) Sewer, Drainage and Piping lay-out or plans, to include design of septic vaults
8) Equipment lay-out/ plant lay-out
9) Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) of the land occupied (if owned by the proponent) or Lease Agreement if land is leased.
10) Locational Clearance from the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) or the Local Government Unit
(Municipality)
11) Design and study of waste water treatment facility (if existent )

 Solid/Liquid Disposal Method/site


 Solid/Liquid Waste Volume & Character

12) Copy of manual of the air emission source equipment, i.e. Generator Sets, boilers, etc.
13) Copy of manual of air pollution control device (if existent)
14) In case certain wastes are being purchased or collected by other parties, we will need a copy of the contract you have
entered into for the collection services or receipts in case it is purchased. We will also need the name of this company or
person and the ECC of this waste collection operator, in case the waste they collect requires an ECC for handling,
transport and storage (especially when they handle toxic or hazardous substances).
15) In case groundwater will be sourced, the permit from the National Water Resources Board (NWRB)
16) Certification and Endorsements from the Local Government Units
17) Barangay Clearance from the Barangay covering the project site
18) Total Project Area
19) Total Project Cost

NOTE:
a. Where documents are nonexistent, we may need to interview certain personnel regarding the information that is
needed.
