The MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering has been designed to facilitate profes-
sionals practicing in the areas of Building Design, Management and Technology.
Its’ purpose is to develop expertise in Dynamic Thermal Modelling, Building Energy
and Environmental Performance, Low energy Design and Operation and Operation
of Buildings and their Associated Facilities and Services Systems. The MSc in Sus-
tainable Energy Engineering is delivered in a flexible block delivery mode which is
designed to facilitate Continuing Professional Development while also working. It is
accredited by Engineers Ireland for Chartered Status.

Programme Outline
The MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering requires successful completion of twelve mandatory
modules. The student must also complete a Research Dissertation.
