PART ONE
BASIC PROVISIONS

Article 1 STUDENT ACCOMMODATION

(1) Price list of student accommodation within primary activity

a) Basic price of college fees in the academic year during the course period based on an
accommodation agreement for more than one month designated for this accommodation
purpose. Accommodation of students for daily studies (bachelor’s, master’s, PhD) and foreign
students based on international agreements (Erasmus, CEEPUS, etc.).

If the accommodated student does not agree with the accommodation of another person in the
room (in the case of vacant capacity or refuses to move in with another person), the given price
for accommodation increases by CZK 50/night for each vacant bed in the room.
b) Student accommodation during summer holidays for the entire month based on an
extended accommodation agreement concluded before 1 June of the given year
(Accommodation during holidays based on an agreement concluded by 31 May):

Article 2
ACCOMMODATION OF GUESTS AND UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES

a) Short-term accommodation of guests and university employees

Accommodation of university employees must be related to performing their work duties and will be
billed via internal company document or in cash based on completing a booking/order form,
subsequently confirmed by the responsible employee.

If the accommodated student does not agree with the accommodation of another person in the
room, the given price for accommodation increases by CZK 50/night for each vacant bed in the
room.
b) Temporary long-term accommodation (more than 1 month) of university employees or
foreign teachers, respectively researchers, based on an accommodation agreement
concluded on the basis of proving employment with the university
Accommodation using bed capacity designated for students for the prices specified in Art. 1(1)(a),
basic college fee, is possible only in the case of available bed capacity designated for students.
If providing multiple beds to an employee at their request, the given price for accommodation
increases by CZK 50/night for each vacant bed in the room.

Article 3
Final provisions

(1) The College and Canteen Administration Director is authorised to decide otherwise about the
stipulated price of accommodation based on a justified request from the respective college manager,
especially in cases of mass accommodation, outside the summer season, in the case of
supplementary accommodation services, etc.
(2) The pricelist of college accommodation at Mendel University in Brno comes into validity and
effect on
1. July 2019.
(3) Rector’s Regulation No. 7/2017, Price of accommodation services at colleges of Mendel University
in Brno, valid from 1 January 2018, is cancelled as of 30 June 2019.
