Goals Skills Weakness
Goals Skills Weakness
My personal career goals following graduation are to be able to attain a few custom welding
projects that I will complete in my own personal shop. I have decided to try retirement for a
while and try to enjoy life. I am 55 years old and have worked all my life to attain what I plan on
doing. Right now, all I am trying to do is make extra money for a car restoration project that I
have just started, and to start fishing more. I enjoy what I do and do not plan in seeking
employment elsewhere as of this time. If things change (which they can), I will plan to gain
If my situation changes and would have to work for someone else, I would try to help and train
the younger workforce to be competent in the skills needed to have a successful career. I have
many different skills that I can teach to others so they could become valuable to employers. I
would like to show them how to diversify their skills and could switch careers if a certain job
field slows down or they decide that they don’t like it.
Fully retire, play the stock market, and play with cars.

Strengths:
Another strength is my ability to plan and design a project from start to finish.
A third professional strength is to be able to see others point of view and can change my
Weaknesses:
My keen eyesight is starting to weaken, but if I wear reading glasses I can see in better
detail.
I am not the best in computer work, but if I continue to work at it, I will get faster and
learn more.
I try to be too perfect in areas that don’t need to be, and results in taking longer than it
needs to complete that part of the job. If I asses the job better, I can be able to speed it
up.
