Use of Nanomaterial in Tire Manufacturing

Abstract

This paper presents an overview on the state of the art on care tire manufacturing using

Nano materials. The purpose of choosing this topic is to address the need for sustainability and

more ecological tires in car manufacturing industry and to decrease environmental impacts of

vehicle if the risks posed by use of Nano materials are carefully managed. It will also help in

creating safer, more comfortable and environment friendly automobile industry, which is still an

essential prerequisite for the enhancement of modern society. To achieve this, this paper focuses

on using Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) instead of using Carbon black in car tire manufacturing.
