control and traveler information measurement data like local detection, floating car data and traffic messages. There is
no need for a traffic model to calculates the current traffic state anymore.
In comparison with a traffic model, floating car data contain the total effect of any
disturbances on the traffic – not only the known issues. The TSE calculates a
