 DESIGN

1. Create Standard model

Use “test/demo”, select equipment, pick a point for placement  CRASH.
Use ACP project, instead of MAS!!

2. Reorder hierarchy form is killed and shown again, after apply.

This looks really poor.

3. HVAC: New HVAC  “undefined name /AVEVAHVACSPEC”

DB: ACP7002  no not use MAS project! Use ACPproject.

4. Model editor “shape editing”. Try to select a NXTR  system crash.

(“Window selection”)

5. Export DXF is not working.

6. Piping form “component selection” is very slow.

a. Query at Spec for new GYTPE is slow.
b. Changing Tabs (select, reselect) is slow. (Shutoff query at SPEC?)
Idea for improvement:
Load SPEC data to an object, at SPEC selection.
Use this object at the form to be quick.
Reload object, if SPEC is selected.

7. “Create component at picked position” isn’t working.

Is working, if elements at the branch are selected.
Idea of usage is not clear.

8. “Create component form”  Resizable is not working correct.

 DRAFT

1. Start errors:

Library settings to /TT/DRA/PRJ … are not working DB is missing.

APS Project DB7582 is needed!!

2. Only FREE User is having access to Draft Admintools.

Please add/change this to another possibility

3. Label library:
“Open / Modify” is hard to find. ONLY single symbols can be edit!!
 Draw explorer is needed, go to SYTM  right mouse button, open.

4. How to create a GLAB?

 Choose “general template label” at selection form (upward)

5. How to modify Text (ATEXT, BTEXT) by form (help for INTELLIGENT TEXTs)?
(All Elements: GLAB, SLAB, SYMB, TEXP, …)

6. Revisioning:
A reorder hierarchy is needed to show the correct REVI elements at the
backing sheet. A new idea how to implement this at the backing sheet is
needed, or the revision tool has to reorder REVI elements automatically (by
maximum of shown revisions, user defined).

REVI9 = “I”
Shown are REVI1 to REVI7. REVI 9 has to be reorder to REVI1, if it should be shown.

7. View: Modify in 3D “Walk to entire drawlist” is missing

8. “Drawing creation” is confusing (too much choose options)

“HOME”  “NEW” creation of DRWG and SHEE possible.
“TOOLS”  “Explorers” creation of DEPT, REGI & DRWG is possible.
“AUTO”  “Create”  “General” creation of DRWG, SHEE & VIEW is possible.

“HOME” VIEW is missing?

“TOOLS” DRWG is too much?
“AUTO” is OK.

AUTO is ADP!! I only can create at VIEW at ADP ???

9. Concept of “Projection” at Views not clear.

 View2 is created from View1. Direction???

 View3 is created from View2. Would be correct to View1 …
 View4 is created from View1. WTF???

Seams to been defined as “American standard”, how to switch to

“European standard”?

10. How to position a dimension, without destroying the format?

(Left PPOI isn’t correct, could not catch the line correct to move upward.)

11. “Plot styles” Linetypemapping not possible for dxf/dwg  why?

12. DXF / DWG Export setting file (options) is missing.
13. DXF Import is not working.

1. GER12.1 Menu (menu & toolbar) isn’t working anymore.

Change to uic?

2. Query EVAR at cmdline. AVEVA_DESIGN_DFLTS need ‘ to be shown.

3. Path sets to C:\Users\Public\...

“WOW” – I think that was the first impression, when this was presented.
Maybe this “windows standard” for the future, but our customers won’t do this.
“OLD” start scripts are needed for a fast switch from PDMS to E3D.
Start scripts are created. Will stored at Support share Frankfurt.

4. FlexLM
What happens if FlexLM is running for other products like ACAD?
Is it possible to use the same licenceserver?

5. Searches and collections:

To save a search is nice, but is it possible to save search criteria at a
collection?
 If yes, a refresh button for collections, would be nice. (collect again)
How to save a layout of a collection?
