The airport will be implemented through a Joint Venture Company ('JVC')
wherein AAI will hold 51% equity and the remaining 49% equity will be held by
the GoHP or its designated agency. The JVC will undertake the functions of

Parbati - II
Parbati Hydroelectric Project (Stage-II) is a run-of-the-river scheme proposed to
harness hydro potential of the lower reaches of the river Parbati. The river is
proposed to be diverted with a Concrete Gravity Dam at Village Pulga in Parbati
valley through 31.52 Km long Head Race Tunnel and the Power House shall be
located at village Suind in Sainj valley. Thus gross head of 863 m between
Pulga and Suind will be utilized for generating 800MW power. The diverted
discharge of the river Parbati has been further augmented by diverting the
discharge of various nallahs falling along the HRT alignment.

Subansiri (Lower)
Subansiri Lower HE Project is the biggest hydroelectric project undertaken in India so far and is
a run of river scheme on river Subansiri. The Project is located near North Lakhimpur on the
border of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. The nearest railhead is Nagaon and nearest airport is
LilabariThe estimated annual energy generation from the Project is 7421 MU in a 90%
dependable year.
Teesta VI
Teesta Stage-VI HE Project is a Run of River (RoR) Scheme in Sirwani Village of Sikkim to
utilize the power potential of Teesta River Basin in a cascade manner. The Project was earlier
proposed to be developed by an SPV i.e. M/s Lanco Teesta Hydro Power Ltd (LTHPL),
promoted by the Lanco Group but could not be developed by it due to financial crunch.

Road projects- Projects worth ₹1,500 crore including two road projects costing
₹746 crore each in Phagwara in Kapurthala district and Sri Anandpur Sahib in
Roopnagar area were announced along with upgrading of the 67.64 km long
Banga-Garhshankar-Sri Anandpur Sahib-Naina Devi road at a tentative cost of
₹581 crore in which 8.80-km area of the project falls in Himachal Pradesh. The
construction work for a 2.555 km long elevated structure and vehicular underpass
on NH-44 in Phagwara at a cost of ₹165 crore. Six lanes of Delhi to Beas highway
will be upgraded up to Sri Amritsar and that the ministry will ensure the
channelization of Swan River in the area. These projects will benefit the local
populace by way of increased tourism, safer journey, reduced travel time, and
enhanced economic activity.
