Physics & Electronics Society (NEUTRONICS)

NEUTRONICS started its activities immediately after the competition of Annual

examinations 2016-17. A summer program was designed in which 10 students participated.
They worked on different projects in college laboratory during summer vacation.
Formal inauguration of activities of society was initiated with Dr. S.S Rao Memorial Lecture.
Mr. Suresh Naik, Director, Popular Space Science, Ex. Group Director, ISRO, Chairman,
International Space Society, President, National Space Society delivered the lecture.

An educational visit to Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES)

Nainital was conducted between 3rd and 6th November, 2016.

Annual Event of NEUTRONICS, TechHertz -17 was organised on 16 th and 17th February,
2017. Dr Praveen Kumar D, a senior scientist at National Centre for Medium Range Weather
Forecasting (NCMRWF) inaugurated the two day event. Different inter college events
namely Circuit Mastero, Code War, Quizardo, Genesis, Technicolor, Lan Gaming, Treasure
Hunt, Videography, Maze Runner were organised on day one of the event.

On day two, 17th February, Prof. Ajoy Ghatak delivered 3rd Dr. Sanjay Malik Memorial
Lecture entitled “Quantum Nature of Light & Entanglement”.

An Educational cum Excursion trip to Dharamshala, Mc-leodganj was organised between 1 st

and 5th March, 2017.
