INSPECTION

Before starting the chemical cleaning five pieces of sample were hanged inside the drum.

After completion of chemical cleaning of bioler - on inspection it was found that drum and tube
were free from scales and smooth coated with a thin blackish layer of Magnetite. All the
chemical cleaning found completed successfully and satisfactorily.

CONCLUSION

After completion of all the processes and joint inspection it was found that the test pieces of
water wall and drum were free from scales and coated with a thin layer of magnetite.

As per the analysis during the Acid Cleaning and Citric Acid rinsing the total Iron removed from
the system is as follows:-

The total Iron removed from the system was 848.742 Kg.(approx)

Test coupon corrosion rate = 13.84 g/m2 hrs.
