Career Development.

Career Counselling

Career counselling uses theories and assessments to help others make career choices, think
through career problems, find solutions, and explore opportunities. Our counselors focus more
on helping students pick a career and to help students with job satisfaction or career
development.

If a student is just starting out in his career we will probably help him figure out what career path
to take. For a candidate who has been in the field for a while, we will help to progress in the
field.

We use various tools and techniques for career counselling :

Psychometric Assessment - Kenilworth is proudly associated with Harrisons Assessment

which is considered to be one of the best tools for career mapping. Through which we generate
a detailed report of student’s interest and help them choose the career path beneficial to them.

Free Counselling for profile analysis - Students benefit from speaking to our Senior
Counsellors who are trained to deal with student psychology and posses information on career
affairs

SWOT & Interest Analysis - Through SWOT Analysis our counsellors help students to link their
career interest to growth and industry demands.

Career Mapping - With the help of the above tools and techniques, our students get a clear
plan of action with regards to their career plans.
Study Abroad Services
Study abroad is one of the areas where our expertise is established, being in the business for
over a decade, our team has managed to place over 600 students in the best universities and
Institutions including the top 100 Universities across the globe.

Study abroad is a very detailed and effort consuming process, this is divided into various
stages. Right from career counselling to Course completion and further, Kenilworth plays a
major role in a student’s aspiration.

The Study Abroad process stage wise :

Profile Evaluation - After career counselling and course selection, we conduct a profile
evaluation, through this we try to analyse the student history in terms of Academics, Work
Experience, Internship Experience, Extra Curricular Activities, Test Scores.

University Shortlisting - As a next time, we prepare a list of Universities and consult with the
candidate for inputs and selection.

Essay and CV Development - As a part of the application material, two major essays are to
be developed.

● Statement of Purpose (SOP) - This is a complete brief about the candidate profile,
Country Interest, Career interest, Achievements and Other information. SOP plays a
very vital role in university application as a lot of universities consider this to be a make
or break of the application. We help students develop the best SOPs, we typically spend
hours in constructing a SOP. Our students have managed to secure scholarships
through our SOPs
● Letter of Recommendation - An LOR is a letter submitted by the faculty members or
Work Seniors on behalf of students to the University, This is a mandate requirement for
admission. A university expects a minimum of 2 LORs, academic and professional each.
We help students build LOR and make it comprehensive for the recommenders to
submit.
● Curriculum Vitae- Another important document required by the university is a CV, we
develop the student CV and format it as per the Country and University requirement

Applications - As a next step, after the preparation of the application docket, we apply to the
shortlisted universities upload/send the required documents and communicate with them via
emails and online portals for further updates.

Financial Advisory - We provide financial advisories to students as in study abroad finance

plays a very vital role, students have to make arrangements for paying the tuition fees and living
expenses. We are tied up with a lot of financial institutions like banks and NBFCs through which
we help students secure loans.
Visa Application - Every student is required to have a study permit to pursue education in
another country, Every country has their own visa application process and regulations. We at
Kenilworth do the visa application for students, wherein we take care of the documentation and
details to avoid rejections. Our records commit 98% Visa Rate till date.

Pre Departure Services - We also help students with Housing Assistance, Banking Assistance,
Insurance, Forex, Flight Bookings and Mobility assistance.
Competitive Examination Coaching
Competitive Examinations is another requirement for admissions, two major aspects tested is
English Proficiency and Analytical Skills depending on the course and University Selection.

IELTS - International English Language System.

IELTS is a Language Test required for Work or Study Abroad The test is conducted by two
bodies: British Council and IDP Australia as per cambridge standards. The test is divided into
four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Kenilworth is associated with British
Council and the Inhouse trainers are BC Certified.

TOEFL- Test of English as a Foreign Language.

TOEFL is a Language Test required for Study Abroad, more popular in the USA and Canada.
The test is regulated by ETS. The test is divided into four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing
and Speaking. Kenilworth is associated with ETS and the Inhouse trainers are ETS Certified.
Internships
Kenilworth has been associated closely with sponsors to provide Internships in various fields in
India and Abroad. We have successfully placed more than 400 students in different industries
with named brands virtually and physically.

Some of our major Internship fields are:

● Hospitality Internships - These are very popular internships for hotel management
candidates, We have placed students in brands like JW Marriot, Hilton, Hyatt and so on
for countries like USA, Australia and Europe.
● STEM Internships - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, fields related to STEM in
Australia
● Human Resource Internships - We have conducted HR Internships for students in
India and certified them.
● Business Development Internships - We have conducted Business Development
Internships for students in India and certified them.
