1) Introduction

Composite material
A composite material is a material made from two or more constituent
materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties
that, when combined, produce a material with characteristics different
from the individual components.

And we are going to talk about the fiber-matrix composite

a. Fiber

Fiber glass 1
Woven Roving Fiber Glass 1
b. Matrix & Carbon Fiber

Core Material
Carbon Fiber

Epoxy

Hardener
Risen peroxide hardener

Epoxy Hardener Cobalt for rapid reaction

Composite Tube and plate

Fatigue Testing Machine

Sample Transducer

Bending Arm Torque Arm

By Adjusting The Bending Arm (For Pure bending )
Or Adjusting The Torque Arm (For pure Torsion )
Using the transducer which gives signal to the oscilloscope
and the speed of the motor , the time till the sample fall .
Fatigue life prediction is possible now .
And with many sample and different loads we can draw
(Sigma , N ) curve using many points which we got from the
experiment.

Cam shaft for variable Load

Constant Load Spring
Wear Test Machine is used to determine The Rate of wear of
any material by plotting The volume loss of the sample versus
the distance which covered by the sample fig.1 Under
Constant load or variable load …..

Rotating Wear Machine ( Tri – pin on Test wearing machine )

By Using a rotating desk and a fixed three sample with
constant load ( using fixed load spring ) or variable load using
Cam shaft fig.2
Using a thermal system fig.3 to control and change the
environmental condition of the Test .
