We are a team who is big, fo position srampton as on emergent engaged. excited and empowered to deliver global city of the tute, resus for Brampton, Project Leader, Transit Business Improvement AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: Reporting to the General Manager, Transit, the Project Leader is responsible for developing and leading change management plans as part of transit's continuous improvement program. This role will ensure that, change initiatives meet business objectives within deliverable targets and budgetary requirements. Supports the continued development and maintenance of the transit asset management program. Manages and develops the transit asset management tracking process. Accountable to lead and plan tasks to support development and maintenance of the transit asset management program. Provides specialized direction and guidance, leads asset and change management projects. 1. Change Management Provides change management activities to support the transit business plan, ridership growth, public. service and safety, Provides business case justification using research and new technologies to support business operations and asset management improvements. Execute needs and gaps analysis using risk-based thinking. Monitor change and provide assessment and success metrics that will monitor the overall progress. Works with others to ensure collaboration and compliance. Leads change management initiatives within division. 2. Operation Support Responsible to assess and analyse the life cycle of transit assets. Develop and co-ordinate goals and objectives, work plans, timelines and implementation activities to ensure successful execution of plans and initiatives. Provides strategic advice and analysis to the transit senior management team. Asset Management program would include the depreciation and life cycles for transit assets that include fleet, terminals, facilities, shelters, stations, etc. Defines and makes decisions on functional requirements, tracks and formalizes the asset management processes. Prepares reports and documentation ensuring that processes and forecasted financial modelling meet the business objectives. Develop a framework for the ongoing administration of the Program and supporting implementation plans. Maintain asset registers including acquisitions, maintenance management, transfers and valuations for Corporate Finance reporting, Provides advice to Transit staff and other stakeholders working on the planning, design and construction of transit infrastructure, stations, facilities and vehicles. Liaise and interacts with internal and external stakeholders, government agencies, consultants and vendors to establish standards and criteria for all current and future initiatives. Provides support and guidance to project teams for change management activities. Handle and respond to escalated complex issues through effective investigation, mediation and conflict resolution. Working with Finance, verifies and documents asset values as required and report all collected assets to Finance. 4, Communication and Documentation Support Present and convey project concepts and recommendations to stakeholders for effective decision making. Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures and various business processes and procedures relative to asset management. Participates in the preparation of the annual budget and tracks expenditures to ensure costs are contained and within limits. Prepare documentation, develop and maintain an asset inventory process. Ensure tangible assets and requirements including condition reports are monitored within lifecycle replacement program guidelines. Provides updates and ensures Transit staff are trained on the business process requirements and asset management program. Identify problem areas, assess current state and recommend business solutions. 5. Teamwork and Cooperation Work well within diverse groups to achieve common goals and objectives that meet operational effectiveness and corporate service standards. Demonstrate corporate values at all times. Participate as a member of cross-functional project team. Collaborate with technical sources, consultants and external professional groups.
