• To reduce the likelihood of Covid-19 transmission.
• To ensure the safety, health and welfare of all Taylor’s students and staff.

The New Normal
In general, the New Normal consists of the following for all activities and all
venues:
• Temperature screening
• Hygiene measures – use of soap and hand sanitizers
• Cleaning and disinfection at all venues where activities are conducted
• Wearing of face mask is mandatory on campus
• Social distancing of at least 1m apart
• No gathering or group activity of any form

It is important that all students take responsibility for their own health & safety by
practicing good hygiene, put on face mask and frequently wash or sanitize their hands.

Entry Into Campus
What time does the campus open to
students?
• The campus is open from 7.30a.m. to
6.00p.m., Mon to Fri (Saturday for some Health Declaration

Social Distancing Strategy
• Social distancing rules apply to all activities and all venues.
• Some venues may remain closed until they are progressively reopened. Social distancing measures will
be applied whenever these venues are reopened.

CLASSES & LABS Classes and Labs
• Online Teaching
• Will be conducted until 31 Dec. 2020 as per Ministry’s guidelines.
• Labs/ Practical
• F2F for essential sessions only i.e. with permission granted by MoHE.
• Students who arrive early shall wait at the designated waiting area with social distancing guideline
and under the supervision of the lab staff.
• Common areas will be equipped with hand sanitizers and students are advised to sanitize their
hands before entering the workstation.
• Consultation
• For the health and safety of everyone, consultations should be done online and lecturers should
avoid F2F consultation as much as possible.
• Submission of Assignment
• All assignments are to be submitted online.

obtaining permission letters from the police department and respective embassy. IO will
also assist and advise on immigration matters.
2. For international students who have returned to their home country are not allowed to
return to Malaysia until 31 Dec 2020 (or a date determined by MOHE). Online classes will
be carried on for these students.
