“Tahan na tahanan na.” Bakit kaya tinawag na tahanan ang tahanan?

Tinawag na tahanan ang tahanan dahil para sakin ang isang tahanan ay may roong pundasyon at
ilaw at ang pundasyon ay ang ama at ang ilaw ay ang ina. Sa aming tahanan ang aking ama ang
siyang haligi at pundasyon at siya ang nagsisimbulo sa pagtibay ng aming pamilya sa
pagkakaroon niya ng matibay na pundasyon. Ang aking ina naman ay siyang nagbibigay ng ilaw
sa aming tahanan. Hindi mabubuo ang aming tahanan kung wala ang aking ama at ina na
nagsisilbing pundasyon at ilaw ng tahanan. Parang sa video na aking pinanood ang kanyang ama
ay nagsilbing matibay na pundasyon ng kanilang tahanan nariyan siya palagi upang gabayan ang
kanyang anak sa pangarap nito.

In the video I can still see that his parents support him in every decision that he made, they
believe in his dreams that he can do it. Even my parents are not perfect they are still the most
precious gift that God gave to me, because they are the reason why I’m here today and there are
the one who take care of me when I’m still a baby and up to now. I’m very thankful to God that
they are my parents. Without them, I am nothing.

In the video that I’ve watched I can see that his family is the foundation of what he reached in his
life.
They say that mother is the first teacher. She is a foundation, central and life-shaping part in the
development of child. Family performs a formative function in our society. It is only through the
institution of the family that the cultural heritage of the society is maintain. We learn about our
responsibilities, social relations, religious ideas and code of conduct from our family. My family
help me to develop myself, I get the basic awareness, self-confident, self-satisfaction, principle
of sacrifice and love to my family. My family is the foundation of values what I have now like
kindness, sharing, cooperation, love, friendship, generosity, compassion, responsibility and
service. That’s why my family have big contribution to my life and they are the reason of what I
am now.
