1. Has your office initiated any reforms in the utilization of MOOE? *

Yes, the school has initiated some reforms in utilizing the MOOE.

2. What is/are it/they? *

Eulogio Rodriguez Integrated School continues to motivate, engage and prompt students to learn and
achieve. Thus, the school community gives its splendid support to the Best Practices resulting to a positive
impact, improves school’s performance indicators. The best practices are the following:

a. Clean-up Drive (Proper Segregation of School Waste). It is a school-wide clean-up drive

implemented once a month. This is to make sure that the school is clean and very good place for
learning. The waste is properly segregated to its trash bins, the biodegradable and non-
biodegradable. Some plastics are being recycled and used as decoration in the garden.

b. The school is also one of the implementers of the Alternative Delivery Mode. This is to save
drop out reduction measures and to help students at risk of dropping out. The ADM learners are
categorized as Students at Risk of Dropping-Out (SARDO) as working students, overage,
teenage mothers, poor health and conflict situations. The school gives assistance to ADM
learners to become “more mature”, “more responsible”, more “willingness to learn” and with
high aspiration to go to college and to pursue higher education.

c. To reduce the number of identified frustration readers by 10%, the school launched its Project
STAR (Systematic Techniques Using Audio Visual in Reading). It aims to develop instructional
materials for slow readers through reading remediation, peer reading tutorial, “anak ko-turo ko”
and the likes.
d. To help reduce our drop-out rate, we continuously implement our feeding program to our
severely wasted and the less privileged learners by simply giving them food to eat during recess
thru our local fund.
e. The school is also one of the Best Implementer of Gulayan sa Paaralan wherein we ranked 6 th in
the Regional Level last 2016 – Secondary Division. The vegetables being produced from the
project are also being used in the School Feeding Program.

f. The School continuously conduct awareness program on drugs through monthly activities with
the help of MADAC personnel from the LGU.

3. When did you start implementing this? *

These reforms were started for more than three years and are continuously being implemented.

4. What prompted you to initiate the said reforms? *

These reforms aimed to contribute to the full development of the learner into creative and productive
member of the family, school, community and country. On the other hand, waste segregation is being
implemented to keep the school environment clean and conducive to learning.

5. In the implementation of these reforms, what do you hope to achieve? *

The school administration is hoping for a better school environment and to improve performance of
learners.

6. Can you tell us how it works? Please explain the process in detail, if any. *

The program works positively as there is a decrease of drop-out rate for the past years. And the
learners also have a positive response on waste segregation.

7. What are some of the changes you see brought about by the said reforms? *
The learners are more likely wanted to learn and showed their eagerness to learn more inside the
school. Thus, better performance of learners was achieved.

8. Do you have any more initiatives planned in the future? *

Yes. To support and intensify the School-Based Waste Segregation, the school is planning to
implement the Cleanest Classroom Program. The school, thru the help of SSG will formulate a committee
to evaluate classrooms every week.

We will also have a Dynamic Career Advocacy Program. This is to give access to information and
provide guidance about career education. And to strengthen the different tracks that the school is offering in
the Senior High School.
Do you have photos or other documentation of your above-mentioned reforms? If yes,
