In these strange and uncertain times, it’s good

to know that there is nothing as constant as
surveys!
The NSS [National Student Survey] (for
finalists), UKES (for 1st and 2nd year UG
students) and PTES (Postgraduate Taught LIBRARIES ARE FOR LIFELONG LEARNING
Experience Survey) are still running.
The University of Birmingham Library can offer you a wide range of
intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/ survey/ services to help with your work, including:

Let isolation be your muse

Being cooped up is challenging but quarantine has long been a

powerful catalyst for stunning art and memorable literature.
In 1348 a group of ten young things, seven women and three men,
flee Florence for a villa in the Tuscan countryside to avoid the
worst pandemic Europe had ever experienced at that time. They
while away the hours and days by telling each other stories –
some scandalous, some melodramatic, some anti-Catholic
church.
The tales of Giovanni Boccaccio’s The Decameron are
being recounted, in a synoptic form, on the LCAHM Facebook
