Scene 1

Kim: “Mom I’m home”

Linda: “Did you buy the vinegar that I asked you?”

Kim: “Oh I’m sorry I forgot, because I suddenly feel dizzy and pain in my stomach”

Linda: “It’s okay dear, just take a rest now”

Kim: "Mom I don't want to die yet"

Linda: "No I mean take a nap or sleep." 

Kim: “Okay” (while walking towards their room, Kim suddenly fell)

Linda: “Oh my gosh. Kim wake up what happened to you?” “Donald Donald come here”

Donald: “WHAT HAPPENED?”

Linda: “She just collapsed and she has high fever”

Donald: “Quick! Quick! Call a tricycle let’s bring her to the hospital”

Scene 2

Linda and Donald: “Help! Help us!”

Nurse: “Ma’am, what happened?”

Linda: “She said she felt dizzy and then she just collapsed”

Nurse: “Check vital signs, check the temperature, she's hot proceed to ER”

Donald: "Are you trying to hit on her?"

Nurse: "No sir I'm saying she has high fever"

Linda tries to go inside the ER.

Nurse: “Ma’am you can’t go inside, I have a few questions”

Donald: “What happened to my daughter? Why can’t you tell us?”

Nurse: “Is she coughing aside from fever?”

Donald: “I don’t have time for your questions, I need an answer what happened to her?”

Linda: “Calm down Donald they still need to check her”

Nurse: “Since she has symptoms, we still need to run some tests on her if she has Covid- 19” 

Donald: “What do you mean tests? Can’t you see she’s already unconscious and you still want her to
take the tests your talking about? Can’t we take it instead?”

Linda: “No. No. He doesn’t mean the test we usually take at school”

Nurse: “Please wait here until the doctor is done checking her”

Linda: “Thank you” *sobbing*

A few moments later

Doctor: “Mr. and Mrs. Tiu?”

Linda and Donald: “Yes Doc? What happened to our daughter is she okay?”

Doc: “Hi I’m Doctor Third Dy, I am an internist”

Doc: “Based on the tests, your daughter is diagnosed with peritonitis, its an inflammation in her
cavities” So we need to conduct immediate surgery on her”

Linda: “What do you mean surgery?” “I am an undergraduate in dentistry, you said it was an
inflammation of cavities? So why is there a need for her to undergo surgery?”

Doc: “No ma’am I’m talking about abdominal cavity, not the cavities in the teeth. One of her
abdominal organ was ruptured that caused the inflammation of the peritoneum”

Doc: “Fluid fills the abdominal cavity and the bowel, resulting in loss of fluid from the rest of the
body, that’s why she is experiencing abdominal pain and fever”

Donald: "BOWEL??" "You mean the alphabet?"

Doc: "No sir. I'm talking about the part of the intestine"
Donald: “I didn’t understand anything that you have said.” “I just want my daughter to be alright”.
“Please I’m begging you do everything you can to save her”

Doc: “That’s why we should conduct immediate surgery on her because if not, it can lead to more
dangerous conditions and it can be life threatening.”

Donald: "Then do it!"

Linda: "Please"
