CLEAN INDIA

In a land of colors and dreams,

Why is it that our India screams?

Cleanliness is next to godliness, often heard them say,

But in the land of customs and religious

Why does mother India gets slayed?

Flying, up she goes,

But still cannot rise from the dirt

Form which she gets seduced.

And he who takes pride in her eternal glory

Cannot make her a clean story.

Instead of becoming a beautiful mess

She gets scarred because of carelessness.

She howls and scowls in disdain,

Yet no one has the senses to visualize her pain.

So let us all come together,

And teach her child a lesson

OF morals and ethics

TO decorate his proud mother.

Oh! And see he learnt,

Cleaned the dirt and ashes burnt.

A proud son in his mother’s throng

Feels and sings the freshness song.

And she rises again to her celature

And amazes her children by her soft nurture.

Now her skies meet the clear water of her oceans

And her stars kiss the spotless moon in a commotion.

She now has euphonic harmonies to offer,

Because in her death,

Her children put a stopper.

From up above smiles Cecilia,

On seeing her clean friend,

A Clean India.
