JOB ORDER SYSTEM

SYNOPSIS

The project titled “JOB ORDER SYSTEM”” is designed using

Visual Basic 6.0 and Access 2003.

The project involves consultancy services activities such as

employer’s details management, job vacancy management, job seekers
registration with resume collection, counseling and guidance, announcing job
availability to them,

The employer details include name, company address, phone number,

mail id, web site and job nature provided by them.

The job vacancy details include employer details, job details such as
eligibility, number of vacancies, job place, interview date and procedure.

The job seekers registration includes resume collection with details

such as name, address, phone number, email id, educational qualification,
experience and registration fees, etc.

The counseling and guidance include place and date of guidance

program, contact person, last date for registration, etc.

The reporting options include employers and job seekers list, job
vacancy details and guidance program details.
1.2 ABOUT THE PROJECT

System study is the reduction of the entire system by studying the

various operations performed and this relationship with the system and the
requirements of its successor. A system can be defined as an orderly
grouping of independent components utilized together according to a plan to
achieve a specific objective. Analysis is the detailed study of various
operation performed by the system and their relation within and outside the
system. During Analysis, data are collected on the available files decision
points and are handled by the present system.

System study is sometimes refers to as the data collection phase,

because it is here that the problem is described, data gathered and a
fundamental understanding of the problem is obtained. System analysis is
an activity that encompasses most of the tasks, Computer system
engineering.

The basic principle used in analysis is the same as in complex task

divide and conquer. That is partition the problem into sub problems and then
tries to understand each sub problem and its relationship to other sub
problems in an effort to understand the total problem.

1.MASTER
a. Employers:
It is used to store the personal details of the employees.
b. Job seekers:
It is used to update the details of the job seekers.
2.TRANSACTIONS
a. Job Vacancy:
This module is used to update the details of the job vacancy
details.
b. Counselling:
It is used to update the details of the counseling. (i.e.)
allotment details
3.VIEW
This module is used to view the details of master and
transactions terms.
4.SEARCH
It is used to search the details of Employers list, job seekers, job
vacancy and counseling details.
5.REPORTS
It is uses to access the report for all storages.
6.CHANGE PASSWORD
It is used to change the password of the existing user.
