Tips & Tricks-

• Nosebridge wire– I have coated floral wire that I cut into 9” increments, curl the ends, and fold in half. I also have 5mm flat jewelry wire that is
closest to a real nose wire that I’ve found. I cut it into 4” increments and round out cut ends.

• Ties– I have used 3/8” gross grain ribbon, 1/2” cotton twill tape, or single fold bias tape that I fold in half and sew or double fold bias tape that I
sew closed.

• Elastic– for a good fit, I’ve found 1/8” flat elastic works well between 5.5” long. For 1/4” elastic, I’ve found 6” fits best

• Walking Presser Foot– Run, don’t walk to...your phone and order one now! It will make sewing pleats a million times
easier! It helps feed the fabric through from the top and bottom of your piece and the masks almost glide through!
