MINIMUM IAQ PERFORMANCE

The project site is located at outskirts of the city of New Delhi and surrounded by green areas. It is at a distance from the
main motorway and being constructed in an area dedicated for IT buildings. Thus the project site does not have any
automobile or industrial pollution and the general ambient air quality is good.

Air conditioning load has been calculated considering ventilation rate procedure laid down in ASHRAE 62.1-2004.
Maximum potential occupancy load has been considered while working out-side air needs in all spaces. A chart indicating PATNI CAMPUS AT NOIDA
fresh air quantity considered for additional 30% above ASHRAE 62.1 requirement of various area.

Individual air handling unit has been provided for each air-conditioned floor in the building. All air-handling units consist of
supply fans with VAV boxes in fresh air.

In addition, air quality in each space is closely monitored through carbon-di-oxide sensors installed in various zones
served by the air handling units. A log of indoor and outdoor carbon-di-oxide levels shall be maintained through an OWNER
advanced Building Management System. PATNI COMPUTERS
Care has been taken to ensure that all fresh air intakes are located at least 25 feet away from possible sources of
contamination like building exhaust fans, cooling towers, standing water, parking, sanitary vents and outside smoking
vents. High efficiency pre-filters and bag filters are being provided in supply air stream of all air-handling units to remove
any contaminants from outside air.
