7.3.1 When and how to calibrate DMI

The DMI should be calibrated regularly, e.g. every 30 days. The calibration interval is set in the window
Manage Settings, see Appendix A.1.
The creation of a new database (see 3.3 How to make a new database) must also be followed by a DMI
calibration.

If the number of days since last calibration have

been exceeded a warning text will appear in the
window Change DMI

To calibrate the DMI click the icon Manage Equipment in the top menu bar and the window Manage
Equipment opens.

In Manage Equipment select the

tab Calibrations
The window DMI will then appear.
Latest date for calibrating DMI and
latest calibration counts per km is
displayed in this window.
Click Calibrate and the window
Calibrate Counter will appear.
