Shahrukh khan is a gentle man, always peaceful and witty .He is always
pleasant and never aggressive in public meetings. So here is the
assessment of his speech at YALE University back in the year 2012.

INTERESTING LINES FROM HIS SPEECH

• Friends call me night owl, but I think I'm a Batman, Prince of


darkness
His voice was clear and open while speaking .Words were
clear and conveying emotion. He related it to the well known
character batman so everyone connected well.

• Creative expression comes from the deepest experience of


the artist himself.
Clear and dynamic words. The words were creating a
emotional impact.

• Bananas and critics should have their skin peeled and fed to
monkeys.
Here he knocks the critics with his crisp words in a funny
way. Clean vocabulary and pun intended.

• I can slide but never fall.


He talks this based on his life’s experience .This is motivate
the audience
• If you want to survive life , its best to begin to respect the gift of
love right now.

• Don’t try to feed your stomach with creativity ,its food for soul
not your stomach

He starts his speech by thanking the members . He takes a


dig at the US Immigration as he is often interrogated
during his visits in a witty way.

He reconnects his memories at Yale few years ago while


shooting for a film making fun of his past experiences he
had there.

He makes it clear that “my words will not give you enough
insight to your life but will help you to help to survive.”

He makes tone change at the end of each topic.

While speaking he also kept the audience engaged to him


by inserting jokes into the speech and interacting with the
crowd by asking them to clap and insisting them to listen.

He makes crowd cheerful and fun at constant intervals with


his comic and humor skills. He used one-liners in between.
Such as reading out his kids replies to his texts.
In his speech of 30 mins he kept the audience engaged with
his expressions, speech and usage to right tone to make a
statement.

He took an average break of 3 to 5 seconds in between topic

one that is unwelcome or unpleasant.
