YSTRAL

Disperser & Homogenizer Machines

1. Conti-DS
1.1. Induct, Wet & Disperse Powders

1.2. Increase the economic potential of your processes with

YSTRAL Conti-TDS: Dust and loss-free container emptying,
powder transport and addition, wetting and dispersion up to
complete de-agglomeration can all be implemented using a single
machine.

1.3. With YSTRAL Conti-TDS, powders are not only wetted, but
dispersed in the liquid under vacuum. This inline mixing process
avoids agglomeration. This offers you an optimised result with a
better breakdown, higher raw materials efficiency and higher
product quality

2. Daitec Conti-DS
2.1. For the food production industry

2.2. The DaiTec offers all the advantages of Conti-TDS technology

and is specially tailored to the requirements of the milk
processing and food industry. It is characterized by its 3A certified
design and a powder feed table with integrated hopper at an
ergonomic working height.

2.3. It is connected directly to existing containers and is ready for

use after a couple of simple steps. Due to its powerful induction
vacuum, the machine can induct and disperse directly from the
powder container via a induction tube, aside from induction via
the hopper.

3. Dispermix
3.1. Mixing and dispersing in a single operation

3.2. The YSTRAL Dispermix is used when the powder/liquid-to-

liquid mixing is insufficient and a shear ring dispersion is too
intense. The Dispermix subjects the container contents to vertical
intensive mixing in the micro and macro range whilst dispersing
the product in the same operation. Additional downstream sheer-
ring dispersion is omitted.

3.3. With its optimal mixing/ dispersion performance, higher

economic potential and easy-to-use mixing tools, the Dispermix
meets the demanding requirements of high-end production
processes to induct liquids or powders into liquid

4. Multipurpouse
4.1. Multifunctional, exchangeable shafts and tools.

4.2. The modular design of the multipurpose units, i.e.

exchangeable tool shafts and/or interchangeable mixing and
dispersing tools, is only common within the laboratory
environment.

4.3. The YSTRAL Multipurpose offers flexibility in chemical, food,

cosmetic and pharmaceutical production. Different products and
product quantities can be manufactured using a single machine
and the most suitable tool.

4.4. To meet the clean room and pharmaceutical sector

requirements, all connections are sealed in accordance with GMP
guidelines. Numerous versions with different drive and lifting
column combinations add to the versatility of the multipurpose
systems

5. TDS Induction Mixer

5.1. Low-dust induction, suspension and dissolution of powders in
liquids.

5.2. TDS Induction Mixers draw powder, liquids or gases below

their level into liquids and at the same time homogenise the
contents of the container.
The vacuum required for
induction is generated in the mixing head.
The machine is
installed in the container from above by means of a flange or
traverse. Alternatively, the TDS Induction Mixer can work on a
lifting frame.

6. X-Batch Disperser
6.1. Dispersion according to the rotor-stator principle

6.2. YSTRAL high-performance dispersing machines work on the

rotor-stator principle with high shear gradients. The extreme fine
distribution of solids (suspensions) and liquids (emulsions) in
introduced liquid media is achieved by perfectly coordinated
interaction of different comminution processes. The high-
precision dispersing tools are individually adapted to the
respective task.

7. JetStream Mixer
7.1. High circulation capacity of the rotor-stator principle.

7.2. Effective micro and macro-mixing are crucial for achieving

consistent product quality in a wide variety of applications. The
YSTRAL Jetstream Mixers satisfies all the requirements for
complete and homogeneous mixing of the container contents.
The YSTRAL Jetstream Mixer proves that cost efficiency, an
optimum mixing profile and easy-of-use are not incompatible.

8. Z-Inline Disperser
8.1. For suspensions, solutions and emulsions in the chemical,
food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industrie.

8.2. YSTRAL-Inline dispersing machines work on the rotor-stator

principle. The inline mixing dispersing machine is suitable for the
preparation of suspensions, solutions and emulsions in the
chemical, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. Very
large shear gradients can be generated thanks to the narrow
radial gap between rotor and stator and the high peripheral
speed of the rotating rotor.

8.3. The product enters the shear zone through the slots between
the rotor teeth, and leaves it again via the stator slots. Due to the
multi-tooth geometry of the rotor and stator, additional
mechanical forces act on the product being dispersed during the
inline mixing process.
